Your name appears on every contract, every email, every event, and
every promise we make. It reminds me that although I cannot change
what happened, I can make sure the world remembers that you were here.
I can make sure people know you were more than the tragedy that took
you from us.
You were a daughter who was deeply loved. You were a sister, a
friend, and a young woman with compassion for people and animals.
You had dreams, a beautiful smile, and a life that mattered.
I cannot give your story the ending I wanted for you. What I can do
is continue carrying it.
