Sarah Linn Ingram was not a company name, a marketing idea, or a carefully developed brand story. She was our daughter. She was a sister, a granddaughter, a friend, and a young woman whose presence brought warmth into the lives of the people who knew her.

Sarah Linn had a way of making people feel comfortable simply by being herself. She did not need to be the loudest person in the room to be remembered. Her kindness was genuine. Her smile was unmistakable. Her heart was open, and the people around her could feel it.

She loved music, the beach, butterflies, sunflowers, llamas, and the animals she believed deserved love and protection. She cared deeply for Annie and Nezuko, two beloved rescues who became an important part of her life and continue to be part of the story she left behind.

On February 19, 2022, Sarah Linn was killed by a drunk driver. She was only 19 years old.

There are moments that divide a family’s life into everything that came before and everything that came after. That day became ours.

No parent imagines receiving the news that their child will never come home. No family is prepared for the silence left behind when someone they love is suddenly gone.

Grief does not arrive with instructions. It does not follow a schedule, offer a finish line, or return life to what it was before. It changes the people carrying it.

We did not find closure, because love that deep does not simply close. We began the much harder process of learning how to continue while carrying Sarah Linn with us.

We Could Not Change What Happened. We Could Choose What We Carried Forward.

Nothing could undo the loss of Sarah Linn. Nothing could make our family whole in the way it had once been. We could not rewrite February 19, and we could not pretend that grief had not changed every part of our lives.
